CHILD WITH CEREBRAL MALARIA IS SAVED
Child's life is saved
On Christmas Eve while taking a half-orphan to visit her frail elderly
father, she pleaded that the superior would allow her abandoned
nephew to return to boarding school with her. The superior was torn
as he knew that a sponsor was not available for this child at the
present. The superior’s tender heart of gold was not capable
of leaving the child behind.
The boy attended his first Christmas service, yet the day after
Christmas the boy was urgently transported to the local hospital
where he was diagnosed with cerebral malaria. This advance stage
of the disease is the most serious stage where the brain is affected.
Fortunately, Fr. Tom's Kids program was able to immediately fund
the life saving treatment.
Today, Victor is attending boarding
with his Aunt Winnie
