St. Martin de Porres New Chapel Construction Fund
Currently the Dominican house at St. Martin de Porres is in need of renovation and expansion. Of great importance to the friars is the construction of a beautiful chapel that will provide a fitting place to worship and inspire the people who will enter.

(for the education & formation of future Dominicans)
The St. Martin de Porres Formation Endowment ensures for the education and formation of our young Eastern African Friars. Today these endowments continue to grow for the sake of and support the work of the Dominican Friars in Eastern Africa. The Dominican Friars of Eastern Africa invite you to share in the dream of St. Dominic, our founder, to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Eastern Africa: Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Sudan.
St. Dominic, our founder always had the vision of going to the missions, but he was never able to go. In an act of faith, he sent many of the early friars to foreign missions to continue the work of preaching on the frontiers. His dream is now realized in the work of our Friars in East Africa. Help us to preach the Gospel in Africa!

De Porres Small Business Development Fund
The De Porres Small Business Development Fund helps people, to begin a small business by taking a very small loan to be able to provide for themselves and their families. Counseling by our own Fr. Lewis M. Shea OP provides the practical knowledge based on sound business practices for the sake of development.

Margaret of Castello Medicine/Nutrition Assistance Fund
Each day medical emergencies come to the doorsteps of the friars in Kisumu. This fund is directed for the poorest of the poor who otherwise would not have the ability to receive medical assistance or proper nutrition. Blessed Margaret remains our patron who herself was poor & disabled. May Bl. Margaret bring healing to consolation to so many who are sick and do not have their basic needs.
